I Didn't Receive an Email Invite

This article will help parents who didn't receive an email invitation to the platform.

If you're expecting an email invite to set up your OnShelf account and haven't received one, don't worry! Please follow the below steps to troubleshoot the issue. 

Step 1: Check Your Spam Folder

Sometimes our invitation emails can mistakenly end up in your spam or junk folder. Here’s what you can do:
  • Open your 'Spam' or 'Junk' folder in your email application
  • Look for emails from "no-reply@bookmarked.com" with the subject line "Welcome to [School's] New Personalized Library Experience!" that might have been filtered incorrectly
  • Move this email to your inbox to ensure you receive emails from this address going forward
  • Follow the instructions in the email to set up your account.

Step 2: Confirm Your Email Address

For your security and privacy reasons, we can only send email invites to the address that is registered with the school. If you are using an email that hasn’t been registered as your contact record at the school, we will not be able to send you an invite. Please ensure the email you are checking is the one you have provided to the school, if not, please update your contact information before requesting a new email invitation.

Step 3: Request a New Invite

If you've checked your spam folder and confirmed your email address but still haven't received your invite, let's try resending it:

  • Email us at support@bookmarked.com.
  • Please make the subject line "Request for New Parent Invitation"
  • In the body of the email, please ensure you include the following:
    • Your children's names
    • The schools your children attend
    • Their student IDs
    • Your email address
  • We will check our records and resend the invitation to the correct email address as soon as possible.
